Woo, I finished off coloring the remainder of the chapter today. Glad to have finally gotten that wrapped up with.

On that subject, remember this page taking me a fair bit to finish cleaning up and coloring. This chapter in general's kind of had that going on, with just how busy things have been. Kind of a relief that the last two pages of the chapter are a bit more simple.

Not that the work detracts from the chapter or the page itself though, pretty happy with it. Not a whole lot to say here, kind of more Adam's territory to comment on this one, but hope everyone enjoys!

Adam's Comments:
Again, I see the cyborgs as punch-clock bad guys, especially Mech. They really don't have any animosity to the kids, and could totally see the lot of them hanging out sometime. Even Jenny and Autumn seem to have this quick rivalry of sorts.

But yeah, a joke about Shinobu I've been wanting to do for a while is that her science and intellect make no sense. I can see her having never gone to any sort of technical school and being entirely self-taught, a sort of bizarre cybernetic genius who needs someone like Spencer to keep her creating inventions that have any sort of practical use. Sort of like Cave Johnson in the body of a cute Japanese girl with a huge butt.

On the subject of Japanese stuff, "Bozu" is a term I picked up in Negima. Basically it's an informal way of addressing a young boy, sort of the equivalent of saying "Squirt" or "half-pint."

Oh, right, realized in retrospect that in the TF2 comparisons with Spencer's team, Shinobu would sorta fit the Engineer role. Creates weapons and items that are indispensable to the team and is an unparalleled genius from an unlikely background (Engie is a stereotypical Texan, Shinobu a stereotypical Japanese girl, neither a well-known source of intelligence). I guess under that point Chiko-Tan would be her Sentry gun.

To push it further, I guess that makes Spencer the Spy... Charming and classy but always waiting to stab you in the back. "I never really was on your side."
