Martin's Comments:
There's a fair chance there might be some schedule issues soon. That'll be on Adam to decide, but things really aren't looking good on my end right now, and I'm too far behind on coloring right now for our buffer to do us much good. We'll see, though.

Anyway, yeah... That was a long, intense fight, wasn't it? Yeah, Adam wanted to get this fight wrapped up fast in the name of doing the same with the chapter, though that didn't really happen as planned. Still, stick around, we have a fair bit left to go.

Adam handled coloring this one, though I did the clean-up on it. Didn't take quite as long as I was thinking it would, but it did take up a significant chunk of the evening I did it in.

Adam's Comments:
Aaaand the fight's over. ^^

Yeah, that was a big problem with this chapter- I put so much effort and work into making Darkskull a joke villain that I had trouble actually keeping the fight going for more than a few pages. Yeah, the kids all work together to take him down here, but any one of them probably could've handled him solo. Martin had to actually pitch ideas for how to keep the chapter from ending two panels after he showed up. So I figured if it was gonna be an easy fight, might as well still try to get a spectacle out of it. Teamwork, FOR THE WIN!

Lemme see... Lore throwing that fast-ball and beaning Darkskull was something I'd wanted to see since the chapter started (And yeah, I got the idea from TF2's Scout's Sandman weapon). After that just had to think of a way for the group to all work organically to take him down in a single, fluid motion. That was a ton of fun. I love seeing the group interact like this. ^^

It's not terribly clear here, but Jenny is supposed to be headbutting Darkskull in the second panel and knocking him off his feet into Grant to catch him. Should've drawn the contact, would've been clearer. Also, given she already has a helmet in her costume, curious why Jenny head-butting people hasn't been tried before now. Seems like an obvious move.

I am a little disappointed to see Casey destroyed since Fortress can't build another one. Was planning for it to be in every appearence he had, but apparently not. Though with that said, while Darkskull is definitely gonna be appearing again (He's too fun not to use) he's not gonna be the main focus of a chapter again. He was never meant to be more than a one-time Joke villain.

I dunno, assuming you guys liked him as much as I did. Thoughts on the big lug?
