Adam's Comments:
Wow, Marvelous Man won't apologize. What a stunning twist that I'm sure surprises precisely zero of you.
Yeah, yeah, everybody saw it coming, but even though it was a foregone conclusion I didn't think it was that unbelieveable and tried to write it as plausible. Like we said earlier, Marvelous Man really isn't wrong for what he did and you can see why he make take issue with apologizing. He kinda did everything right, bad things still arose from it, and you can't quite say it was his fault. Add onto that Marvelous Man has had a bit of a stressful day after dealing with Decay Conductor and you can see how tempers might be a little frayed.
On the other hand, Felicia's husband is in a coma and she's been staying awake at the hospital for 40 hours, so you can't really expect her to be thinking 100% rationally. She's well within her rights to freak out over this when confronted with the guy who put her husband in the hospital.
Not to say Marvelous Man isn't crossing a line here, he is (can you imagine Superman doing this?). But can understand why. Keep in mind that when Zodiac ordered him to apologize it wasn't because he felt Marvelous Man did anything wrong or had to admit fault, it was just because he'd heard the widow was upset and thought it would be a decent thing to do.
We also hear a bit about Felicia Fancy and Quartz' marriage. I dunno if this'll ever come up, but my headcanon on it is that Felicia was an attorney and struck up a conversation with Quartz at the fundraiser, finding out that he'd mishandled his own business affairs and lost the rights to his own image and name. Agreed to help him get it back and it bloomed into a romance. Probably left when he was growing increasingly unstable and wouldn't accept treatment.
Martin's Comments:
Like was said before, originally the previous scene was after this one. I basically said I thought it worked better switched around like just before Adam got to drawing on it, so pretty last minute switch, though one I do think was for the betterment of the story.
Not sure how much else I've got offhand, but do hope everyone enjoys. Probably not the most stunning turn of events, but do still hope it has some impact to it.
