Adam's Comments:
Oh, that just looks terrible.... Robot's eyeballs exploding as the effect of a sonic scream going out behind his head? Pulled it off. Guy rolling on the floor? Fail. I hope nobody gets set on fire, 'cause I won't be able to draw the third step of the Stop-Drop-Roll movements.

Not much else to say about this, though. Yeah, this fight came out too long- it's like the first chapter of Wright As Rayne, though not quite that repetitive since at least we're jumping around. Still.... gonna watch this from now on, promise.

Martin's Comments:
Adam's comments reminded me that for some reason, in kindergarten when teaching us stop, drop, and roll mine taught to roll forward. I really don't think that'd help much, if you're even able to focus enough to do it.

One thing I like about this fight is how all of the parts of it are sort of distinct but clearly all happening together, with intertwining things between them. That becomes especially clear in the pages that follow this one, but this is still a good example.

Do you realize there are still like thirty pages to go in this chapter? Really feels like we're at the home stretch here to me. Weird.
