Adam's Comments:
Everything else has been build-up. The real fight with Darkskull starts NOW.

Feel oddly tired at the moment so comments may be lax.... The Blue kids have stopped being cheap plot devices in Darkskull's eyes and become more evil, conniving villains to be hated. It would fit the twist to a lot of Darker And Edgier works to have the innocent children turn out to be the evil masterminds. This means an art shift on them, which sadly means Grant loses his Shojo eyes. Ah, well. ^^ Still rockin' the Supergirl look.

Jenny's flame-pigtails were my brother's idea. Normally I find it kinda annoying when he suggests stuff to be put in, given he doesn't read the comic, but that one was too good to pass on. ^^ Valerie is dressed like Uhura, since Darkskull is enough of a fool to prefer the obviously, indisputably inferior Original Series version of Star Trek to the better written, better acted, better made, and better-captained Next Generation series.

Think this is where Darkskull cements himself as to being completely mad. Though given some of the stuff he's done before, maybe we're long past that. ^^

Martin's Comments:
Yeeeeah, I really don't have a whole lot to say at the moment I'm afraid. Been sort of scatterbrained all night - colored this weekend's WaR / BP DeviantArt filler and wrote a little bit on this project of mine I'll be mentioning properly soon, but otherwise I've just kind of sat around wasting time and hating myself for it.

Anyway, pretty happy with this one. I asked Adam to handle coloring it in the interest of saving me some time given the next one was a very time-consuming one (albeit not nearly as much as I thought it'd be), though I did handle the clean-up here. And speaking of that... Wow, did I botch cleaning up Jenny's face in the second panel. No idea what happened there, I so should have smoothed out those eyes more and possibly just deleted one of them entirely. Eh, minor detail, just a little over-looked thing.

Third panel just makes me think, "Tonight, tonight, won't be just any night..."

Adam's Comments:
"The Blues are gonna have their way... toniiiight! The Blues are gonna have their day... toniiight!"

Of course if the kids did come across from group of ballet-dancing "street toughs" armed with knives they'd just kick their butts back to dancing school....
