Adam's Comments:
Turns out a driver's license is the greatest power of them all.

Yeah, one thing all super-heroes have to figure out is how to get to their fights. Flight, webslinging, high-tech plane, cool car, something. I think in the early, early plans for the comic, Grant and Jenny would carry the rest of the team to the crime scene, then when I had the decision to add Jake as a cast member, figured he could fill that void.

When you think about, kids in movie and stuff always get everywhere they need to go without parents to drive them. Think TV Tropes calls it Free Range Children. My family and I rented Super 8 on Thanksgiving and I remember getting distracted at how the kids were able to just go wherever they wanted in the entire town with just their bikes.

Martin's Comments:
Yeah, not really much in the way of new colors or anything here, but I do like how it's looking.

Jake was a fairly late addition in the idea. If memory serves Adam brought the idea of needing an adult up and I threw out the idea of Jake, who was made up for an unfinished story the two of us were doing together. Some elements that make him a good fit for Blues originated there, including his somewhat begrudging but protective nature in regards to kids.

Originally Murphy was going to be his first name and his last was something or other weird, but Adam didn't really like the ring of it. He definitely seems like a Jake so good call.
