Martin's Comments:
Another example of Nicky's slight tendency toward getting overly angry. Does kind of come up a lot so far, doesn't it?

Anyway, one case where I think the costumes are a downgrade is Jenny's dash effect - that being pretty universally purple I don't think looks nearly as interesting as it does when she's out of costume. Still, minor trade-off.

Andy's costume's odd in that it's changed in both drastic and minor ways. The basic look and outfit is the same, but originally he didn't have the hood-like thing, the mask was a bit different, and the stripes were also on his legs and were gold instead of black.

Adam's Comments:
Yeah, Nicky is surprisingly touchy. But I don't think he likes being made fun of by older kids. With ya there, buddy.

But as for Nicky's costume looking like a Sidekick costume.... Yeah. That's kinda what it was meant for. He does sorta play that route in the team in general. Also it's hard to come up with a good costume for someone super-stretchy when you don't have super-stretchy fabric.

Yeah, Andy's costume changed a lot too. Originally it was much brighter, but Martin played around with the color and came up with this darker look. That made me try to just generally make the costume more Ninja-esque than before and add the hood. Martin also suggested putting Andy's codename running up and down his legs but didn't go with the idea since it was a pain to draw.

I sorta see Andy as a Robin Hood fan. Loved that book as a kid, love the Flynn movie as an adult, and just seems like the dashing rouge would be a good fit for him.

Kid's got a temper. Just be glad he's not like Korra at that age.

Heheh. Imma poke your brain. :turbopoke:

And hey, having rubber powers doesn't make you an automatic sidekick. Sure, they're not the most famous supers (usually that spot is reserved for the ones who can punch really hard), but there's always Plastic Man, Rubberband Man, Elastigirl, Luffy, Mr. Fantastic, Madam Rouge... I'm pretty much just reading off the trope page now. Though his costume does look a bit sidekicky. But you knew that already.

Andy's suit seems a tad dark compared to his personality. Then again... And I keep mentioning color contrast lately. The curvy line theme doesn't seem to fit the powers, but I dunno. If I talked about costumes fitting powers, we'd be here all night.

Gotta say, though, I can't think of any super with reflexes as their main power. Not off the top of my head anyway. *checks* Okay, none that really stands out. Most can be attributed to training. Wonder Woman's famous for it, but she's an Amazon or whatever and probably trained in reflexes and whatever. Everyone else looks like an expansion of a Spider Sense or some other power, expected due to being a robotandroidcyborg, or is a Required Secondary Power to Super Speed. Huh. I think you made comic history here--or at least webcomic history--by having reflexes as the direct power obtained by empowering. Not sure, though.
