Read our sister-series: :iconwright-as-rayne:

Martin's Comments:
And now back to Aurora. Feels like it's been longer than it has been since we've seen her. That scene showing off the costumes isn't actually finished yet, but we won't be getting back to it for a little bit longer.

Not too much to say on this one, though I do like how it came out. Really do like how bleak I got that apartment looking, though I can't help but wonder if the landlord marketed it as being as soul-crushing as possible for those into that kind of thing. Or maybe the place is just flexible on people painting the walls and replacement the carpet.

I suggest you keep Agent McCay here in mind.

Adam's Comments:
Yeah, Agent McCay's gonna be pretty important later. ^^

I like Aurora's expression in the last panel. Sometimes that's my exact reaction to people telling me something I drew is good.

The "don't leave your drawings out" relates to something I went through as a kid. When I was a kid I was home-schooled and I'd leave my reports out for Mom to look at. My sister would often read them instead and tell me how much she thought they sucked, saying that if I didn't want them read, I shouldn't leave them out.

Now while I can get artwork and drawings getting looked at, I still maintain that she had to sit down, stop what she was doing, and consciously read my stuff, so it wasn't just a matter of my leaving them out, and that also she can go to hell.

I can relate. I too have a snoopy family. Which is why I make my best effort to not leave any of my writings where people can see them. Usually keeping my laptop closed does the trick, but recently I've been drafting stuff by hand, so that's one extra problem.

I think this is the least villainous that William has ever been in this comic. He comes off as a Deadpan Snarker instead of some cruel person.

The NB Bomb? That surely doesn't sound ominous at all. Not one bit. :P

All those fists make everyone look tense in this page. Except William, oddly enough.

I swear I've seen that guy with the slicked-back hair somewhere in your comics before. Probably not, though. He just has that familiar look to him.
