Several years ago, I was walking through Wal-Mart and started to feel very self-conscious. It felt as if every person I asked, without exception, was staring at me. I started to panic and wondered what would happen if I started shooting at them with some kind of power. That's around the time I got the idea for Aurora.
Think this came out pretty good. It was scripted to feel disorienting and unsettling an experience, and think it came across okay. The colors on Aurora against the dark background are really eye-catching work on the part of Martin. ^^ I also love how the things around her start out vague shapes, but become more coherent as she walks.
The song playing on that radio is "Color And Light" by Stephen Sondheim. It's from Sunday In The Park With George, a play I didn't really care for, but I love the songs.

Not really sure on what to say on this one offhand, though it did certainly give me plenty to work with in terms of the color scheme. Wound up taking a long time to finish, but do think the results paid off.
Anyway, yeah. Like how this whole sequence upcoming came out and I hope as it goes on everyone else does as well, though it was seriously hard to color at points. Think it paid off though.
Not heard the song, but it reminds me of a part in Arkham Asylum - specifically when you're first in the underground beneath the Botanical Gardens - and Joker is rambling on and on about, "A little green, a little blue," while mixing chemicals with his voice muffled and echoing. God is he annoying during that part.
